Scan evidence at home or on-the-go with MyScan
As we all understand and navigate the new challenges we are currently faced with, we know that access to technology that can support Local Authorities, their staff and their citizens to engage with public services is important. Following guidance from the Government amid Covid-19, Local Authorities are needing to restrict all but essential face to face interaction at their Customer Service Centres.
ScanStation is a digital self-service tool that supports citizens with their document evidencing. It removes high levels of contact whilst speeding up the scanning process – supporting Local Authorities and their clients as they adapt to these unprecedented circumstances.
Available as an extension of ScanStation, MyScan is a browser-based web app that allows users to supply evidence from their own personal devices, without needing to leave their home. MyScan reduces the reliance on Customer Service Centres, whilst ensuring that documents securely land in council back office systems. MyScan is fully branded to your local authority and replicates the design of ScanStation, creating a seamless and consistent user experience for customers. MyScan is particularly important in the current climate, as it allows this sector of customer service to operate as usual whilst adhering to the Government stay at home guidelines.
We are acutely aware of the demand that staff are now under – and will continue to be going forward. To that end, we have undertaken a number of steps to enable ScanStation to be implemented entirely remotely and ‘resource lite’. We are currently looking at full implementation within 4-6 weeks from the point of initial engagement.
