BetterCare: Financial Assessment Show ‘n’ Tell in Birmingham

Looking Local are pleased to be hosting another Show ‘n’ Tell event for BetterCare – this time in Birmingham. This event will run from 11:00 until 14:30 on the 27th of June and will be held in The Priory Rooms, a short walk from Birmingham New Street station.

BetterCare: Financial Assessment is an online web-platform supporting people with their Financial Assessment for Care. It enables users to remotely access and complete their assessments, whilst providing guidance and ensuring transparency throughout.

BetterCare has been live in Kirklees Council since January 2017 and is currently being deployed with a number of other Local Authorities across the country. It has seen 80% of customers now fully self-serve their Financial Assessment. This shift has seen considerable savings and has freed up officer resources to be focused on the more complex and vulnerable cases, giving the customers who are most in need the support they require. See the BetterCare product page here for more information.

The BetterCare product continues to evolve – Looking Local will be discussing BetterCare’s roadmap, which includes significant additions such as self-service deferred payments applications, online compliant direct debit capture, integration with DWP data and a care phones/telecare assessment.

This event is a great opportunity to hear about BetterCare: Financial Assessment in person as well as network with delegates from other Local Authorities. We anticipate that this will be a popular event, so please register early to avoid disappointment. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all delegates.

You can register for your free tickets via Eventbrite here.
