20+ Local Authorities Choose ScanStation for Document Evidencing
More than 20 Local Authorities from across the country have come on board with ScanStation as their solution to self service document evidencing.
ScanStation is an easy-to-navigate digital application that enables claimants to self-scan documents to support a range of services such as Housing Benefit Claims, Council Tax Reduction, Blue Badge Claims and much more.

On average, 80% of customers are able to independently self serve using ScanStation, creating significant time and cost savings for councils. During our show and tell event in February, we heard from Salford City Council who discussed saving 96 hours of staff time since coming on board with ScanStation. Freeing up this time has meant that the staff can spend time focusing on those who are vulnerable or are in need of extra help, creating an efficient service for all.
We are constantly striving to find ways to evolve and future-proof our self-scanning technology and have since began to roll out additional features to the ScanStation app which are able to create considerable efficiency savings for Local Authorities. Some of these features include floor walker notifications, supermarket-style verification and a live reporting feature – all of which come at no additional cost to customers.
Our next ScanStation Show and Tell event will be taking place with London Borough of Lambeth on 19th September. As with previous events, they are incredibly useful in discovering how the technology has improved operations across different Councils. Lambeth Council will be discussing their experiences since going live with ScanStation in September 2017. We currently have over 30 delegates signed up from over 20 different organisations so it is shaping out to be a great chance to network with delegates from other Local Authorities and hearing about their digital transformation process.
